On March 13, 2024, International Women`s Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Mannichanallur, organized by Vasantham Pengal Sangam (VPS). The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of N. Thenmozhi, the Chairman of VPS, who presided over the event. R. Kanjana, the Vice President of VPS, extended a warm welcome to all attendees. S. Padma, the Secretary of VPS, presented the annual report, highlighting the organization`s accomplishments.

Special guests WDPS Seethalakshmi and KSE Trust Kumuthavalli were in attendance, adding to the significance of the occasion. The event saw participation from various segments of the community, including Self Help Group Women, Parentless Children, Disabled Children, Women Entrepreneurs, Breakfast Program Teachers, VPS Staff, and FPO Port Members.

As part of the celebrations, all participating students were generously provided with essential items, including bags and notebooks. The focus of the event encompassed crucial topics such as the protection of girl children and career development.
