On June 29, 2024, a training program for Level 15 women in jute bag making was organized by Vasantham Pengal Sangam in Manachanallur block, Tiruchirappalli District. The event was supported by Women First, with Vasantham Pengal Sangam Director S. Padma as the chief guest.

The training session was conducted by Maruthampal Salapatty. The program was well-arranged with assistance from VPS staff members Dhinipa, Shantha, Thiyagarajan, Ramya, and Saranya.

The initiative aimed to empower women through skill development in jute bag making, contributing to their economic independence and sustainable livelihoods.
