Mannachanallur, Block Poonampalayam Village Government School 24 December 2024 – In a generous partnership with the Ontario Teachers Federation (OTF) Canada, Vasantham Pengal Sangam (VPS) provided essential support to 50 children of single parents. This initiative aimed to alleviate some of the hardships faced by these families by offering teaching materials and nutritional support.

The children, all from single-parent households, received notebooks, teaching aids, and essential educational supplies to enhance their learning experiences. Along with the educational materials, VPS also distributed nutritious food to ensure the children’s well-being and support their healthy growth.

The collaboration between OTF and VPS highlights the importance of community efforts in supporting vulnerable families and ensuring that children have the resources they need for both their academic and physical well-being.

VPS expresses heartfelt gratitude to OTF for their continuous support and to all volunteers and staff members who made this initiative possible.
